Saturday, September 22

Apollo Room, Nichols Hall, University of Kansas West Campus, Lawrence

8:30am Registration and coffee, seed sales, book sales and displays

9:00am Workshop on the new Patch Program by the Education Committee

9:30am “Native Plants in the Formal Garden”, Larry Limberg of Clearfield Farms Nursery, Baldwin City, Kansas

10:30am Morning Break

10:45am Business Meeting

12:00pm Lunch ($8/person, must prepay)

1:30pm Field trip to the Baker Wetlands, Lawrence

About the program

Wildflower Tour to Akin Prairie, Lawrence - All are invited to join the wildflower tour of the prairie which is located 2 miles east of Lawrence. Meet at 1:00pm in the parking lot near Hardee’s at 23rd & Iowa St. We will carpool to the site.

Annual Meeting and Programs, Apollo Room, Nichols Hall, University of Kansas West Campus, Lawrence - All activities on Saturday will take place in Nichols Hall (except for the field trip). Nichols Hall is located on the west side of the KU campus near the corner of Constant Ave and Irving Hill Rd. Lunch will also be served in Nichols Hall.

Field trip to the Baker Wetlands - After lunch, we will meet Craig Freeman in the parking lot outside of Nichols Hall and will carpool to the Baker Wetlands in south Lawrence.
