1:00 pm Foray to Grant-Bradbury Park, Topeka; tour leader will be Jeff Hansen.

4:30 pm Dinner Meeting for KWS Board — Washburn University Union, Vogel Room (2 floor).

7:30 pm Evening Program — Lorna Harder will present “Four Seasons of Color in Your Garden.” Washburn University, Stoffer Science Hall Lecture Room.

9:00 pm Door prizes — Jane Freeman.

Saturday, September 13

8:00 am Registration and Refreshments — Washburn University, Stoffer Science Hall Lobby.

8:30 am Slide show — Plant identifications — Stoffer Science Hall Lecture Room.

9:00 am Welcome by Washburn University President Jerry Farley

9:10 am KWS Business Meeting conducted by KWS President Dwight Platt

9:45 am Break to cut and eat the KWS 25th anniversary cake, Stoffer Science Hall Lobby.

10:00 am Guest Speaker Larry Vickerman will present “Kansas Native Plants: Beyond the Borders” Stoffer Science Hall Lecture Room.
