Baldwin Woods. This 200 acre remnant of oak-hickory forest is recognized as a National Natural Landmark; it is part of the University of Kansas Ecological Reserves. Ken Lassman, author of Wild Douglas County will lead this walk from 11am to 2pm. Bring a sack lunch. We plan to eat on the trail. This event is hosted by KNPS. Meet at the parking area for the historic Signal Oak Park on the west side of E 1750 Road, about a half-mile from the intersection of N 500 Road.
