Konza Prairie Wildflower Walk • Riley County

KPBS is located in the Flint Hills of northeastern Kansas (3905 N, 9635 W) on McDowell Creek Rd. From K-177, turn onto McDowell Creek Road (County Road 901S). Travel 6 miles south on McDowell Creek Road. Watch for the Konza Prairie sign marking the entrance. Turn left on Konza Prairie Lane (gravel).
Join us and walk with a docent volunteer on a hike of Butterfly Hill. Learn about the wildflowers in bloom and enjoy a hike on land not open to the public. Cost is $10 per person. There is no charge for Friends of Konza Prairie members or children under 12.
