Kansas City Wildlands Community Ecological Restoration Workday

We will be focusing this winter workday on cutting down, treating and removing invasive and exotic woody plants that threaten three of Kansas City’s beautiful remnant natural communities. Three different locations: Blue River Parkway - Minor Park Access in KC, MO, Ogg Road prairie in Shawnee Mission Park, Shawnee, KS, and Hidden Valley in north KC, MO. This workday is for adults and older youth (11 and up, with adult supervision for youth under 15 years old). Snow date is set for March 7, 1-4pm.
