Hidden Valley Workday and Native Woods Restoration • Douglas County

Join Friends of Hidden Valley, local Girl Scouts and the public for our annual fall workday in Mary's Meadow and Dogwood Forest. Tasks for all ages; individuals, families, and other groups welcome. Projects include: native woods restoration (cutting and burning invasive shrub honeysuckle); tree mulching, wetland maintenance, campsite renovations, trail blazing, stream cleanup, gardening and seed collection, and so much more. Tools, gloves, project leaders and refreshments (s'mores & hot cocoa) provided, and hot fires to warm you. Any amount of time appreciated...come and go as you desire. Carpooling highly recommended.
