Local Authors Outside: Ken Lassman • Douglas County

Saturday, Jan 27th, 2018 @ 1
Wakarusa Wetlands • 1365 N. 1250 Rd. • Lawrence, KS • Map

Meet local authors as they share connections of their work to outside spaces—enhancing our connections to nature and sense of place. Each author will speak for approximately 20-minutes and then we’ll enjoy a hike! Sturdy shoes and a jacket are recommended; moderate hiking and uneven surfaces are possible. Visit the Wakarusa Wetlands with Ken Lassman, author of Wild Douglas County. This series of events is co-sponsored by Lawrence Public Library and Kansas Native Plant Society. If there is inclement weather, we will meet inside Baker Wetlands Discovery Center.
