Monday, Mar 26th, 2018 @ 7
Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall • 1245 New Hampshire • Lawrence, KS • Map

The Jayhawk Audubon Societyís March 26th program, Plants for Birds: Restoring Bird Habitat One Garden at a Time will feature Lynn Byczynski and Jennifer Delisle, both members of the JAS Board of Directors. They will present on National Audubon Societyís program Plants for Birds, where JAS is partnering to promote the use of native plants in yards, neighborhood parks, and public places. Growing bird-friendly plants will attract and protect the birds we love while making our spaces beautiful, easy to care for, and better for the environment. Audubonís Plants for Birds program is designed to enable all of us to have a positive impact by planting for birds right where we live. This program will focus on food preferences of the backyard birds found in northeast Kansas, and the native plants that supply that food.
