Tallgrass National Prairie Preserve - Volunteer to help plant native plants for pollinator project • Chase County

Saturday, Jun 16th, 2018 @ 9am-noon
Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve Maintenance Building • 625 Cottonwood Street • Stong City, KS • Map

Volunteers are needed to help The Nature Conservancy and National Park Service get 3,000 plants in the ground at Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve before they wilt!

**NOTE - please don't go straight to the preserve.**

All the plants and grasses are species that attract pollinators like native bees and butterflies. It's all part of a project to improve habitat for pollinators and we couldn't do it without our partners - the National Park Service and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. But we also need YOU to help us save the pollinators!

Meet at 9am on June 16 at Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve Maintenance Building at 625 Cottonwood Street in Strong City (on the corner of Cottonwood Street and Highway 50.) It has restrooms and you can fill up your water bottle there.

PLEASE RSVP - email or call us at 785-233-4400
