GHF Wildlife in the Garden Workshop • Douglas County

Thursday, Aug 23rd, 2018 @ 7pm
Lawrence Public Library • 707 Vermont St. • Lawrence, KS • Map

Native plants are more than beautiful and fun to grow. They provide everything that native wildlife rely on for food and nesting sites. When we add more natives to our gardens, we invite wildlife to live and dine there as well.

Join us for the 3rd workshop in our 2018 Gardening with Native Plants Workshop Series. Angie Babbit, Monarch Watch Communications Coordinator and Environmental Biologist, will talk about the pollinators and other wildlife that rely on natives and how we can attract more of them to our gardens.

An RSVP is encouraged. Email GHF at grasslandheritage@gmail.com to RSVP and for more information.

The GHF workshop series is for everyone who wants to learn more about the benefits of and methods for gardening with natives. Check out the GHF website at www.grasslandheritage.com or follow GHF on Facebook to learn more.

Workshop co-sponsored by the Lawrence Public Library.
