10th Annual Visions of the Flint Hills - Art Fundraiser for Friends of Konza Prairie

10th ANNUAL VISIONS OF THE FLINT HILLS BENEFIT AND SALE is a juried exhibition featuring art of the vanishing prairie. All artworks depict or are derived from the Flint Hills area of Kansas. The exhibit will run from October 2 through November 29, 2018 at Buttonwood Art Space, 3013 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64108.

This juried exhibition benefits Friends of Konza Prairie which promotes educational research and experiences in the Konza Prairie Biological Station, an area of the Flint Hills just south of Manhattan, Kansas. The 8,600 acre Konza Prairie and the surrounding Flint Hills region contain the largest remaining parcels of the Tallgrass Prairie that once covered 140 million acres in North America. All artworks will depict or be derived from the Flint Hills area of Kansas.

Buttonwood Art Space is a community focused art space and gallery located within the Buttonwood building in Mid-town Kansas City, MO. Our gallery is a place for local and regional artists to share their artworks and their commitment to non-profit charities.

Every art purchase you make at Buttonwood will impact the area community as a portion of every sale benefits a non-profit organization with local connections. Buyers can receive a percentage of their purchase as a tax deductible contribution to a non-profit (rate depends on the show).

Buttonwood Art Space hosts two-month-long art exhibitions in our 3013 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri space. Over 7,500 square feet within our office building makes it a unique place to find local art!
