Climate change and the tallgrass prairie – what’s the connection and what will happen to this endangered ecosystem?

Join us for a presentation by Dr. Jesse Nippert, grassland ecologist and principal investigator of the Konza Prairie LTER, who will talk about climate change’s impacts on the tallgrass prairie and what it means for the prairie’s future.

Ken Lassman, co-founder of the Kaw Area Watershed Council and author of Wild Douglas County, will also present information about current global climate change trends.
