Join us September 13, 14 and 15, 2019, in the Atchison, Kansas area for the 41st Annual Wildflower Weekend (AWW). This year’s theme is “A Walk in the Woodlands”.

Learn and discover flora in woodland remnants in two Kansas counties, Atchison and Brown. Enjoy a full weekend of outings, Board Meeting, Membership Meeting, programs, a silent auction, photo contest, KNPS award giving, lunch, and socializing — join us! The Board meets Friday afternoon in Horton, followed by a tour of the area around Mission Lake. Mission Lake sits on the edge of an oak-hickory remnant forest with nearby wetlands in Brown County. Our main event will be in Atchison. Walks on both Saturday and Sunday will be in native woodland remnants near the bluffs of the Missouri River.

Please mark your calendars now to meet at the AWW in September.
