Conservation Easement Dedication & Guided Walk at Prairiewood • Riley County

Please join the Kansas Land Trust and Prairiewood Retreat & Preserve for a special land dedication celebration and guided trail walk on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 6 PM.

6:00 PM = Refreshments in the Blue Sage Barn, featuring photographs by Ken Stafford.
6:30 PM = Land dedication & presentation in Prairiewood's Willis Prairie, featuring special guest performers.
7:15 PM = Guided walk through Willis Prairie with ecologist and educator, Courtney Masterson.
8:00 PM = Campfire by the Blue Sage Barn

This 186-acre conservation project is a collaboration between Prairiewood Retreat & Preserve, the Kansas Land Trust, and Fort Riley's Army Compatible Use Buffer Program (ACUB). Please join us in celebrating the protection of this prairie!

To help us plan, please RSVP to jjost@klt.org along with the number attending. If you plan to walk on the prairie, please bring appropriate hiking shoes and clothes. Those who would prefer to not walk the trails are welcome to retreat in the beautiful Blue Sage Barn.
