Swanson Park • 1011 N. Maize Road • Wichita, KS • Map

Join Krista with KNPS for a Wildflower ID Walk during Pollinator Week. We will ID native plants seen near the trail. Swanson Park is 90+ acres of Wildlife Habitat Area in west Wichita - the Swanson Family lived on this property from late 1800's until the 1970's. The park has minimal mowing and is maintained for Wildlife with a population of deer and other animals in the prairie, woodland and river areas. Everyone is welcome. If you can't be there at 6 please come find us on the trail!

Swanson Park is located on the west size of Maize Road between Central and 13th Streets. Much of the park is in shade but bring a hat, water, your camera, comfortable shoes.
