Pollinator Week Community Booth - Wichita Old Town Farmers Market • Sedgwick County

Saturday, Jun 22nd, 2019 @ 7am-noon
Wichita Old Town Farmers Market • 835 East 1st • Wichita, KS • Map

Stop by the Community Booth during Pollinator Week to visit with Krista from KNPS about native plants and their pollinators. Habitat for pollinators has been decreasing with more land turned over for agriculture and spraying of herbicides and pesticides on crops. YOU can help by planting native plants in your landscape so that pollinating insects can find the host plants they need for food, habitat and reproduction. Come visit and learn about what you can do to help pollinators with native plants.

The Old Town Farmers Market vendors provide local organic vegetables, garlic, honey, floral arrangements, soap, bread, meat and poultry. Know your farmer and your food!

Coffee and water are free. Kid friendly. Dog friendly.
