Saturday, Feb 15th, 2020 @ 10am
Good Earth Gatherings • 858 E. 1500 Rd. • Baldwin City (closer to Lawrence than Ba, KS • Map

There are so many useful plants – how does one choose what to plant for a healing garden? Twila will share her “must-haves” – those easy-to-grow plant allies for making tinctures, salves, and other natural remedies.

Creating your own space for medicinal plants is easy to do, and they are easy to grow. It is wonderful to have our medicine growing right outside the door! Twila will de-mystify the hows & whys of growing the “must-have” healing herbs, and she will share invaluable tips, stories, seeds and sources, empowering you to plan & plant your healing garden this spring!

Instructor: Twila Fairbanks has used and studied herbs for many years, and she uses the Wise Woman tradition to teach healing from the plants. Twila lives a simple life in the woods, close to nature. She is a “granny-woman” and Earth Mother. Her passions are many, including: country medicine-maker, gardener of herbs, flowers & organic veggies, wool worker with needle & hook, and dyer of wool and other natural fibers. She loves to share “words of wisdom” she’s gathered from many who walked before her, including her elders and teachers through the years.
