At TNC’s Smoky Hill Ranch with lodging and meals at Camp Lakeside, Lake Scott. The theme is Principles of Rangeland Management - Grass and Animal Ecology in Kansas, Reaching Harmony…profit and environment. The focus will be the balance between making a sustainable living while keeping a sustainable environment.
The schools cost $250 per person, but scholarships are available to most ranchers interested in attending reducing the fee to $100 per person. Agency staffs may qualify for a $100 scholarship. Students can also receive a $150 scholarship. For more information about scholarships and the schools go to the KGLC website.
