Join K-State Master Gardeners to learn the basics of setting up and maintaining a native garden as well as the advantages of native gardening, such as water conservation and attracting wildlife. They will also take participants on a walk through the library’s native Lewis and Clark Garden to see examples of native wildflowers. Native plants and seeds will be available for purchase. The Mr. & Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library Branch of the Kansas City Kansas Public Library is an environmental learning center in Wyandotte County Lake Park, 4051 West Drive, Kansas City, KS.
