The public is invited to participate in the planting of a new educational medicinal garden designed by the faculty and staff of the KU Native Medicinal Plant Research Program. The garden will have five themed beds of medicinal plants, about 70 species total. The garden will be on the south side of the building, at the School of Pharmacy patio area; please note that the building is on KU's west campus. The event will open with a short presentation about the new garden as well as KUís first medicinal garden, planted by the School of Pharmacy in the 1920s.
