Prairie Center • 26325 W 135th St. • Olathe, KS • Map
Join the Grassland Heritage Foundation for a fall wildflower walk at The Prairie Center in Olathe. We'll see fall blooming flowers and learn about the unique aspects of the prairie ecosystem in the fall. The walk will be led by Ken O'Dell. Ken is a long time volunteer at the Overland Park Arboretum, a board member of the Kansas Native Plant Society, and The Kansas City Region leader for the Kansas Native Plant Society. He also grows the native plants and perennials for the Overland Park Arboretum plant sale. Craig Hensley and Glenn Fell will also be leading this walk. This will be a great opportunity to meet other members of the KNPS in the Kansas City area. When you arrive at the Prairie Center, park in the main lot off of Cedar Niles Rd. just south of 135th.
