Led by expert field mycologist and KLT member Sherry Kay, this educational and pleasant foray will take place on the Earles Easement. This protected land, conserved in perpetuity by KLT,contains one of the best remaining examples of original eastern deciduous oak-hickory forest in Kansas, and is home to a variety of ecosystems friendly to mushrooms. Admission for KLT members is free. The fee for non-members is $25. Non-members are welcome to join KLT during registration, in which case the admission fee to the mushroom walk will be waived.
