7pm. Join the Kansas Native Plant Society & Kansas Trails Council in exploring the woods at MacLennan Park (Cedar Crest). These oak-hickory woods have an abundance of native woodland wildflowers. We will hike on the Kansas Trails Councilís newly built trails at MacLennan Park and scout for wildflowers. You will learn to identify the various wildflowers and other flora found there. Meet at the parking lot on the west side of the governor mansion. Directions: From I-70, take the Fairlawn exit, go north to Cedar Crest and take a left, follow road to parking lot.
