Join Matt Garrett, field biologist for Johnson County Parks and Recreation, for a tour of the 30 acre native prairie at Kill Creek Park. Exit K-10 in western Johnson County, on Kill Creek Rd. Travel south about 2.5 miles until the road T's, turn right, then turn left and finally turn right into the Park. Park in the first parking lot on the right. After this tour, we will travel a short distance to view a diverse 3 acre prairie brought back by the removal of woody vegetation. Directions provided that day.
