Landowner and trail historian, Steve Schmidt will tell interesting tales about the easily visible Sante Fe Trail running through the land he owns near Lehigh. This will also be a great time of the year to explore high quality prairie, and learn about the thriving ecosystem of grasses, wildflowers, butterflies and birds in all their glory. Bring a sack lunch and enjoy a rich experience of cultural and natural history of Kansas. This is private property that is only open to us on this day.
