GHF’s volunteer prairie management group, Groundhogs, meets at Snyder Prairie on the 3rd Saturday of each month of the year, except December. Snyder Prairie is a 140-acre tract of land composed of prairie and woods east of Mayetta, Kansas. Contact Frank to help. Wear appropriate clothing. No special skills or tools needed. This month we will be cutting brush and piling up woody debris in an effort to prep prairie land for haying.
