Report

600 people attended the event.

The booth looked great and we had very good traffic. Lenora had a tri-fold display she had prepared. On the left was the poster we give away at membership, laminated. The right side was devoted mostly to Little Bluestem grass. In the middle had our KNPS logo on top and various pics of native plants and butterflies. We had handouts of our state tree, flower and grass, bookmarks, brochures, Lenora's list of caterpillar plants, our orange wildflower booklets and about 6 native plants supplied by Ken O'Dell. It really looked professional. Many people stopped with more than a passing interest and with specific questions. Many seemed interested in our coming wildflower walks and other events. Micky Louis and Lenora Larson represented KNPS at the booth with Ken O'Dell helping out.
