Sandhills State Park • 4207 E. 56th • Hutchinson, KS • Map
Join us for a walk on this unique sand prairie. Sandhills State Park is located on the north edge of the Hutchinson Dune Tract. The dunes formed by wind-deposited sands from the Arkansas River thousands of years ago. See many species of plants that are only found on sand prairies. Meet at Sandhills State Park at the southwestern parking lot on the N side of E 56th Avenue.
