GHF Native Plant Sale • Douglas County
Saturday, Apr 20th, 2013 @ 11:30am
South Park • 1141 Massachusetts Street • Lawrence, KS • Map
Has the drought been tough on your garden? Do you need to replace some plants? Come to the GHF Native Plant Sale on April 20th and stock up on plants that are adapted to Kansas weather extremes!
We'll be selling a variety of native prairie forbs (flowering plants) and grasses at the 13th Annual Lawrence Earth Day Celebration. All plants will be supplied by Baldwin's own Applied Ecological Services and are guaranteed to be Kansas natives. We will have about 20 different varieties available including Butterfly Milkweed, Little Bluestem and other species appropriate for home landscapes.
If you are a paying GHF member in 2012 or 2013, you can place your order ahead of time and pay and pick up at the sale. Members can also choose from a larger plant list (almost 150 species!) than those available at the event. Contact Kim for more details.
