Celebrate National Trails Day with us and join in on our annual workday as we clear back encroaching brush along the numerous trails of Hidden Valley Camp, a 40-acre semi-wilderness area in the heart of Lawrence, KS.
Long pants and sleeves recommended, and sturdy, enclosed shoes a must. Tools and work gloves provided, as well as refreshments (ice water & trail mix). Sharp loppers and pruning saws optional. Any amount of time appreciated. Contact Durand for details. (Raindate: Sunday, June 2, 8am-noon)
