Snyder Prairie Workday: Invasive Species Control • Jackson County

GHF’s volunteer prairie management group, Groundhogs, meets at Snyder Prairie on the 3rd Saturday of each month of the year, except December. Snyder Prairie is a 140-acre tract of land composed of prairie and woods east of Mayetta, Kansas. Contact Frank to help. Work for May includes beginning invasive species control of the following: garlic mustard, bush honeysuckle, and musk thistle.
