The Range School provide an excellent format to learn, interact, and network with people that share similar interests in our state’s grazing lands - namely ranchers, landowners, land managers, agency staffs, and college students. We encourage you to share this information with others and get your scholarship form submitted by the dates noted.
This year’s theme Adapting Your Management to a Changing Climate incorporates a number of critical topics - learn methods to help you measure and mange your forage, understand the interactions and connectedness between your grasses and forbs and soil ecology - soil health, get practical advice and tools to help you stock for current and predicted weather conditions, learn about shifts in plant communities as well as how to control undesirable plants and encourage desirable ones, find out what it takes to ranch with wildlife, and hear from ranchers who are adapting to changing weather, markets, and other challenges.
