Kaw Valley Eagles Day • Douglas County

Celebrate the return of the eagles and learn about the environment with programs about area Bald Eagles and other wildlife. Nearly 20 different exhibitors will provide hands-on activities for kids including dissecting regurgitated owl pellets, making eagle head bands, exploring "what's in it" boxes, checking out skins and sculls of prairie animals, and turning pennies into copper eagles. Location: Free State High School, 1 block north of 6th & Wakarusa.
