A PowerPoint presentation Wildflowers of The Flint Hills will be given to the Bonner Springs Garden Club by Ken O’Dell. Ken is the Kansas City Regional Leader of the KNPS. This program will be about 45 minutes in length. We will briefly discuss why native plants are so important to the planet and this include insects, reptiles, rodents, animals and humans. We will see some of the 900+ species of native plants growing in the Flint Hills with some emphasis on how they reproduce and grow. The program will be held at the Bonner Springs City Library, 201 N. Nettleton Ave, Bonner Springs, KS 66012. Admission is free. We should have plenty of seating for all who want to attend.
