Wildflowers and Grasses of the Sandsage Prairie • Finney County

Learn about and enjoy the wildflowers and grasses that call the Sandsage Prairie home. This unique habitat has become quite scarce in the southern High Plains and many unique plants thrive here. Attendees will be taken out into the prairie on a trailer to view and explore the endemic flora; guides from the Friends of the Sandsage Bison Range will lead the tour. Seating is limited to 25, . Attendees will meet at main office parking area off of Hwy 83 at prior to 10 AM.
