Come enjoy the wildflowers, the amazing views and the company of like-minded folks who love the tallgrass prairie by celebrating a conservation easement important to the future of the Flint Hills and Konza Prairie. Refreshments will be served.
Hosted by The Nature Conservancy, The Kansas Land Trust, The Kansas Native Plant Society, Konza Prairie Biological Station, and Valerie Wright and Simón Malo, landowners.
Directions: From I-70 take Hwy 177 to McDowell Creek Road (or County 901). Turn left before the bridge into Manhattan and go 4 miles to Shane Creek Lane. Turn left. A sign will show where to turn right on a gravel road to the celebration site.
