Saturday May 18 - Smoky Hills Tours:

9:00 a.m. prairie walk at Susan Reimer's Buffalo Hill (5 miles north of Canton to Pioneer Road and 27th Avenue, go west on Pioneer Road to dead-end parking area)

11 a.m. bison tram tour ($12 per person) at Maxwell Wildlife Refuge Headquarters (2565 Pueblo Rd., a mile north of Buffalo Hill as the crow flies or 3 driving miles. RSVP for tram tour/lunch to Betty Schmidt (620-628-4455) by Wednesday, May 15 (reservations are limited).

12 Noon, Soup, Salad and Dessert lunch at Maxwell headquarters ($8 lunch)

1:30 p.m. prairie walk at Elm Springs Box Canyon (~15 miles from Maxwell) with Betty Schmidt, Maxwell Tour Manager.
