Ritchie Cemetery Workday • Shawnee County

Saturday, Nov 9th, 2019 @ 9am-12pm
1900 SW 27th St • Topeka, KS • Map

We are making tons of progress removing Bush Honeysuckle from the historic Ritchie cemetery. We will work in the back. Bring gloves, loppers, mattock, saws, spades, to tackle the invasive Amur honeysuckle that has invaded the woods. If you don't want to cut we will need people to pile branches. There is also trash to pick up. Feel free to come late or leave early. We will take a break to botanize and talk history. On our last Saturday workday we stayed until 2pm because we had so much FUN!
