Learn the fundamentals of wildflower identification. There are nearly 2100 species of wild flowering plants growing in Kansas. Learn how to identify our many wildflowers and other plants by learning varius characteristics of different species. A slideshsow presentation will cover our most primitive plants (mosses and ferns) to our most evolved (asters and orchids). Information on local wildflower walks will also be covered.
