Planting the Future: Prairie Medicine and United Plant Savers Event • Jefferson County

This is an educational event that features experts in the field of prairie plant medicine and conservation. The presenters are recognized locally and nationally as herbalists and plant scientists. The event will focus on using native prairie plants medicinally, walking tours of the Rockefeller Native Prairie, KU Native Medicinal Plant Research Garden and lectures by Rosemary Gladstar, Steven Foster, Bevin Clare, Ocoee Miller, Frank Norman and many more. This event is open to anyone interested in learning more about our regional medicines and our prairies. Please join us by registering at the United Plant Savers website. All classes will be held at the University of Kansas Field Station, 350 Wild Horse Road, Lawrence, KS. Driving directions can be found at
